I have a grounded, attentive and thoughtful style and bring much passion, care and curiosity into each session. I have ten years' experience counseling a very diverse group of people, particularly around issues of personal fulfillment & growth, identity and desire, grief and loss, sexual and other trauma, depression, anxiety and interpersonal relationships. I work with individual adults and couples in a way that is deeply respectful of my clients' innate capacity for healing and growth, and search for ways to use our relationship as a safe space in which one can experience joy, connection, and intimacy.

I also have a particular passion for and interest in working with children and their parents, and have worked for the past several years with children ages 0-10 and their caretakers. Non-directive play therapy is a safe and gentle way to facilitate a child's healing and resolution of early trauma, emotional and attachment struggles, distress over parents' separation or divorce and other family transitions. I have specialized training and experience working with very young children and their parents, particularly to resolve early trauma, loss or difficulties with managing intense emotions.

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the New College of California, and did my clinical training at the UCSF Infant-Parent Program. Beyond this formal background, I bring into my work the values of several grassroots movements and community organizations I have loved and been involved with over a long period of time, including the values of harm-reduction, peer-counseling and grassroots activism. I especially invite into my practice the queer (trans, dyke, gay and bi) community, people with histories of abuse or trauma, the sex-worker community and anyone willing to take the powerful journey of personal growth and self-discovery.

I am Israeli-American and my counseling services are available in English and Hebrew.
